It is official! Beginning with one of the next few Trap & Field issues, Trapshooting Online’s Founder, Dean Spiridon, will be penning a monthly column for T&F. In addition to the column, T&F and Trapshooting Online will begin to work closely together to bring more photos, updates, and shoot results to the readers and followers of Trapshooting Online, via our website and Facebook page.
We decided that instead of writing another traditional style column focused on technique, we’ll be taking a different approach. Each article will be written with the help of our readers and fans! Every month’s article will be focused on ways to improve participation in our sport, both at the national and local levels, and provide some detailed steps for clubs to take. We’ll also delve into the topic of youth trapshooting and the many challenges that new shooters may face.
While we have a lot of our own ideas, there are thousands of clubs and organizations throughout the country (and world) who have successfully implemented many ideas. Plus, there are plenty of parents (and former youth shooters) who have a ton of experiences to share with everyone. We’re looking for YOU to tell us YOUR story and then check the next issue of Trap & Field to see if you made the cut! That’s right, we’ll include your “story” in our column that is seen by thousands of trapshooters across the globe.
It is an exciting announcement and one that we think will help both T&F and Trapshooting Online to bring more content to their readers. So be sure to look out for our updates on Facebook, Twitter, www.TrapshootingOnline.com, and elsewhere on the internet and get your stories ready!
