While attending the PA State Shoot this year, I crossed paths with Greg Smith, a 16 year old from Rhode Island. Having known him for all of 15 seconds, he handed me a small tablet and said “watch this”. Minutes later his drone was flying high above the main clubhouse at the PSSA Homegrounds.
Of course the natural reaction for a trapshooter is to look up and determine if they can shoot it down. Many commented and there were plenty of jokes about doing just that but fortunately for Greg, nobody followed through with it.
I’ve been shooting at the club for 20+ years and attending shoots there since I was 1 year old – these are certainly views that I’ve never seen before! If you’ve ever stood on the front porch of the main clubhouse and looked high up on the hill, there is a brown house with big windows. It is so far in the distance that you can’t quite make out entirely what’s up there. Greg has a close up shot of that too! Check them out below and pass this along to your friends.
Thanks Greg – these are some of the best photos we’ve had on this site. Keep up the great work!
