In the November issue of Trap & Field (available now), my first article details an idea for attracting new people to trapshooting. As I explain in the article (see below), we have a huge “doughnut hole” between the youth shooters and the bulk of our participants (45-70 years old). How should we fix it? Why does it exist? I welcome your thoughts and opinions – please leave a comment below or send us an email.
There were a lot of interesting columns, shoot reports, as well as other trapshooting news in this issue. If you’re serious about trapshooting and want to improve your game, or maybe like reading about all of the major shoots throughout the ATA, I highly recommend a subscription to Trap & Field. Check them out at www.trapandfield.com!
Here are some items you can read about:
- The Grand American
- Western and Heartland Satellite Grands
- Central and Eastern Zones
- Five state shoots and the Cardinal Classic
- Plus, All-Americans Ron Sutton and Phil Kiner offer some great advice on hold points and the first shot in doubles.
